How Bountify works
Bountify connects token communities with people willing to complete tasks for a reward. This page explains what happens on-chain, what happens off-chain, and what to check before you create or accept a bounty.
What is Bountify
Bountify is a bounty board for token projects on Robinhood Chain. A project posts a task, such as shouting the token name on the street, making a meme, writing a thread, or bringing a friend, and attaches a reward to it. Anyone can connect a wallet, complete the task, and submit proof (a link plus a comment) directly on the bounty. The project reviews submissions and approves the ones that qualify.
For bounty creators
- 1Connect your wallet and sign in (a free signature, no gas).
- 2Write the task, pick a reward token, set the reward per winner and how many winners you want. We check your live wallet balance and block creation if you can't cover the total (reward × winners).
- 3Review incoming submissions. Each one shows a comment and a proof link.
- 4Approve the submissions you accept, then send the reward yourself, directly from your wallet to theirs. You can log the transaction hash on the submission for a public record.
For bounty hunters
- 1Browse active bounties on the home page and open one that interests you.
- 2Connect your wallet, complete the task, and submit a proof link plus a comment.
- 3Wait for the creator to review it. If approved, they send the reward straight to your connected wallet address.
- 4Set a display name and photo on your profile so creators recognize your submissions.
Network & tokens
Bountify runs entirely on Robinhood Chain (chain ID 4663), an EVM-compatible Layer 2. Any standard EVM wallet works. Rewards can be paid in:
ETH
Native gas token
PONS
ERC-20
USDG
ERC-20
PENGU
ERC-20
Each of these is verified on-chain before it ships. We confirm the contract actually responds with the expected name and symbol on Robinhood Chain. You can also pay a bounty in any other ERC-20 by pasting its contract address when creating one. We read its symbol, decimals, and your live balance directly from the chain before letting you submit.
Payments & security
- Bountify has no escrow and no smart contract holding funds. Payments are sent manually, wallet to wallet, by the bounty creator after they approve a submission.
- The balance check when creating a bounty is a safety net, not a guarantee. A creator's balance can still change between creating the bounty and paying out.
- Only accept a bounty from a project you trust, and only pay out to submissions you've genuinely verified. Bountify doesn't mediate disputes.
- Your session is tied to a signed message (Sign-In with Ethereum). We never ask for a private key or seed phrase.
FAQ
Can a bounty have more than one winner?
Yes. When creating a bounty, set the number of winners (slots). Each submission is approved individually until all slots are filled, then the bounty is marked completed.
What happens if I don't get paid after approval?
Since payment is manual and off-chain, Bountify can't force a payout. Approved submissions can carry a public transaction hash as proof of payment. Use that, along with a project's track record, to judge trustworthiness.
Can I pay a bounty in a token that isn't on the list?
Yes. Choose "Other" when picking a reward token and paste the contract address. We verify it on-chain and show its logo automatically if the token supports it.
